Drax acquisition of Pinnacle to be complete April 13

The purchase of Canada’s Pinnacle Renewable Energy Inc. by Britain’s Drax Group is expected to be finalized on April 13, after clearing a final regulatory hurdle.

The final order for the acquisition was granted April 6 by the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Shareholders from both Drax and Pinnacle have approved the transaction.
