FutureMetrics has announced that Kayleigh Rayner Brown has joined the company in an effort to broaden and deepen its commitment to safety across the pellet supply chain.

Brown is a professional engineer with a Masters in Chemical Engineering (process safety). She is a highly qualified process safety specialist with expertise in hazard analysis, combustible dust, and inherently safer design; and extensive experience in the wood pellet sector, FutureMetrics stated.

“My expertise lies within bow tie analysis and inherently safer design, but I know that safety is as much about people as it is science. One of the most fulfilling and rewarding parts of my career is helping people understand risk and contributing towards making their operations safer,” Brown stated.

“Kayleigh’s rigorous approach to assessing pellet production, handling, and storage reduces risk by identifying key opportunities for improvement and by supporting the implementation of strategic action plans,” FutureMetrics stated.
