Kyoto Fuels biodiesel plant begins production

October 24, 2013, Lethbridge, Alta. – Kyoto Fuels Inc. has announced that production of biodielsel has begun at their Lethbridge, Alberta facility.

October 24, 2013, Lethbridge, Alta. – Kyoto Fuels Inc. has
announced that production of biodielsel has begun at their Lethbridge, Alberta
facility.

Speaking at a Chamber of Commerce event in Lethbridge on Tuesday, Kyoto
Fuels Corp. president and CEO Kelsey Prenevost announced that after a decade of
work on the facility, production has now begun.

The $40 million capital project received $10 million in
support from the provincial government. At full capacity, the Kyoto plant is
able to produce 66 million litres of biodiesel per year, or close to 200,000
litres per day.
