N.F.L. town moves ahead on biofuel facility

Jan. 4, 2016 - The Town of Botwood in Newfoundland is hoping a proposed sawmill and biofuel facility will help restart the local economy.

Newgreen Technology, the company behind the project, has requested the province approve the rights to 285,000 cubic meters of forest fibre. The company has already negotiated land and building leases with the town. 

The project is estimated to cost $185 million and create between 300 and 400 jobs. Read the full story by the Advertiser.
