NSP defends proposed renewable energy tariffs

January 20, 2016 - Nova Scotia Power is defending proposed rates and tariffs it is looking to place on renewable energy producers that use the grid to enter into the retail electricity business, according a recent article by the CBC.
Some renewable energy producers are objecting to the “renewable transition tariff,” which is designed to recover a portion of NSP’s fixed costs.
