U.S. to lift ban on sale of high-ethanol blends

Oct. 16, 2018 - U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to announce the end to a restriction on the sale of high-ethanol blended gasoline in the summer.
The Associated Press learned from a senior administration official Monday that the Environmental Protection Agency plans to allow 15 per cent ethanol blends year round as part of a package of proposed changes to the ethanol mandate.
