WPAC Conference & AGM 2020 – Day 1

The Wood Pellet Association of Canada has embarked upon a communications campaign to showcase Canadian wood pellets as responsibly produced, renewable, clean, energy.  The campaign includes preparing fact sheets and videos covering various sustainability topics including responsible utilization, independent assurance, forests for the future, climate change and respecting indigenous rights.  WPAC is also preparing several videos, updating the WPAC website, and embarking on a social media campaign.  Mr. Fisher will explain the rationale for the campaign, show the work done to date and discuss the importance of member participation.

Jason Fisher

Jason is a professional forester and lawyer who has worked in the forest sector for more than two decades. He has practiced law, held senior roles in the BC government and VP roles in lumber and pellet manufacturing. His personal mission is to grow and add value by doing interesting work with good people, seeking out different perspectives and sharing what he learns. He lives happily in Prince George with his wife and two children.
